Plasterer

As a Plasterer in the UK, you play a crucial role in the finishing stages of construction and renovation projects. Your primary responsibility is to apply plaster, render, and other finishes to interior and exterior walls and ceilings, creating smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces. This involves a range of tasks, from preparing surfaces by cleaning and dampening them, to mixing plaster and applying it in multiple coats, ensuring a flawless finish. You'll use various tools, including trowels, floats, and levelling equipment, and will need to be meticulous in your work to achieve high standards. The job often requires physical stamina, as you'll be on your feet for long periods, bending, stretching, and lifting materials.
