ciliary muscles
muscles that contract or relax to change the shape of the lens during accommodation, allowing the eye to focus on near or distant objects
pupil
the hole in the centre of the iris through which light enters the eye
iris
a ring of muscle that surrounds the pupil and controls its diameter, regulating the amount of light entering the eye
lens
flexible, transparent structure in the eye that changes shape to focus light onto the retina
