In her spare time, Samantha enjoys playing the accordion with her local orchestra and has recently taken up cricket.
Practical 1: Magnesium ribbon, 1M hydrochloric acid, conical flasks, measuring cylinders (100ml), thermometer, water bath or kettle, gas syringe or delivery tube and inverted measuring cylinder, stopwatch, clamp stand and bung with tube, safety goggles.
Practical 2: Effervescent tablets, water, beakers, kettle and ice, thermometer, stop watch, gas syringe or delivery tube and inverted measuring cylinder.
