Imagine building and looking after machines that orbit the Earth to help us communicate, forecast weather, and even explore other planets! That's what a Satellite Engineer does. They are involved in every step of a satellite's life, from designing its parts and testing them to making sure it works properly once it's launched into space. This could mean designing the power systems, the communication antennas, or the special cameras and sensors satellites use. They often work in teams with other engineers and scientists, using lots of maths and science to solve tricky problems and create amazing technology that helps us here on Earth. Their work is really important because satellites do so much for us. They help us make phone calls, watch TV, use satnav in cars, and even track climate change. Satellite Engineers might work in a lab testing equipment, at a control centre monitoring satellites in space, or even in a factory where satellites are built. It's a job that requires a lot of precision and problem-solving, and it's perfect for someone who loves space, technology, and understanding how things work.
