Forklift Operator

A forklift operator is responsible for moving goods and materials around warehouses, factories, storage yards, and other worksites using specialised industrial trucks. Their main duties include loading and unloading deliveries, stacking goods in the correct storage locations, and ensuring that materials are transported safely and efficiently. Operators must follow strict health and safety regulations and often need to complete a certified training course such as the RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited forklift licence. The role can be physically demanding and usually involves working indoors, but may also require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
