This can include elderly patients, people with disabilities, or those receiving regular treatments such as dialysis or chemotherapy. The role involves supporting patients before, during, and after their journey, ensuring their comfort and safety, and sometimes assisting with mobility or using specialist equipment. Good communication and a caring attitude are essential, as is the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
